We are currently seeking high school and college students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This full-time, paid, 7–8 week field-based opportunity will take place from June through early August 2026 across Hawaiʻi Island, spanning East to West Hawaiʻi. If you’re eager to build practical skills and deepen your understanding of Hawaiʻi’s diverse landscapes, this internship is an excellent place to begin!

We are seeking a Field Forester with experience and formal training in forestry, botany, or natural resource management and restoration, and knowledge of Hawaiian native flora and fauna. If you are self-motivated, have attention to detail, and are able to work independently in rugged conditions while supervising and collaborating with a team - this might be the position for you!
